Ingredients
  • ΒΌ cup Schweiger Port
  • 12-ounce bag of fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar
  • 1 strip orange zest
Directions
  1. Empty a 12-ounce bag of fresh or frozen cranberries into a saucepan and transfer 1/2 cup to a small bowl.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon agave nectar, 1 strip orange zest and ¼ cup Schweiger Port to the pan and cook over low-medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries are soft, about 10 minutes.
  3. Increase the heat to medium-high and cook until the cranberries burst and the Port reduces a touch, about 12 minutes.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the reserved cranberries.
  5. Cool to room temperature before serving.
