The entry is plush but then meanders into an intensely layered mid-palate of blackberry, boysenberry, and pomegranate. Mingling with the fruit components are gentle notes of oak, tobacco, and wild bramble. The finish lingers on and on with playful acidity and tannin flashing the berry expressions for as long as 45 seconds.
