Our 27 year-old Cabernet Sauvignon is still showing incredible depth & complexity! This is a tribute to the aging potential of our mountain fruit. Its ruby/garnet color with a very slight brick red on the edges is amazing, especially when its notes of elegantly layered Bing cherry, currant, elderberry, cedar, and cardamom are complemented with a touch of tertiary notes of forest floor and mocha powder. This wine's rich velvet entry with supple tannins yields to a full, fruity mid-palate. Its finish presents lingering tannins and an acidity balance attributed to well-structured fruit.
